Abacoa Singles -Flyin' Solo
A place to meet friends and have fun! All ages are welcome and encouraged to join. Get to know people to meet for a movie, see a play together, try a new restaurant together and go on outings as a group. Guests are welcome at activities and every member is encouraged to bring a single friend along to events.  We had a GREAT re-launch as we headed to Roger Dean for a Spring Training game.  Join us next time and be sure to check abacoa.com for our next outing!  Also, join our facebook page by clicking here.  Join us for some great concerts in Sept.

Bike Club

Join us for this non-competitive, family fun ride!  Grab your road bike, hybrid, mountain bike, or even the baby carriers.  Rides will be 4 or 10 miles around the beautiful Abacoa neighborhoods.  No rider left behind!  Bring a helmet and enjoy the ride!

When: Sunday’s 4pm...check abacoa.com for the complete schedule!  (Wheels roll at 4, so get there early).
Where: Meet in front of main entrance to Roger Dean Stadium.
Course: Map provided (4 and 10 mile loop)
Attire: Bring your own bike and helmet.  Kids 16 and under MUST wear a helmet! Jokes provided free of charge.

Community Garden Group
The Community Garden Group meets monthly, on the third Saturday of the month at 9am.  The LifeSong church, on the Southwest corner of Central Blvd and Community Dr, has agreed to make a portion of its property along Community Dr, just west of Central Blvd, available for interested residents to grow our community garden in Abacoa.

It really is a dog’s life around here! If your pooch is anything like mine, he is spoiled rotten, but we love to give our puppies the best of course, and that’s why we find it so important that Abacoa has its own Doggie Play Group. Dog lovers gather at the beach and different areas around town for some puppy play time!   Come let your puppy play with us!!  Be sure to check abacoa.com for our next outing date and location!

Fishing Club

Calling all Abacoa fishing enthusiasts! Come join us in the New Haven NORTH clubhouse the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 6:30-8pm to discuss topics from fishing techniques to conservation.  Offshore and inshore fisherman alike will love trading tips and stories about the best fishing spots in Jupiter and surrounding areas!

No boat?  No worries...You do not need to own a boat to join and we welcome novice to expert level anglers, men and women, and the kiddos!  Bring the whole family and your neighbors if you love fishing!

Runners Club
Abacoa Runners Club meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 6pm at 1200 University Blvd. (Innova Building). Runners of ALL levels are welcome as we hit the pavement through the Abacoa neighborhoods and build friendships while we run!  Members have already begun signing up and the club is growing each week.  Join us...it's fun!

Theater

 As part of the Abacoa Theater Group, you will have access to special discounted group rates, a chance to sit with neighbors and friends, extra special meet and greets with the cast and crew, and a great show. We encourage all ages to come and take part of these events.  We had an incredible line up of shows this past season.  We saw The Academy, The Sound of Music, Defending the Caveman, and West Side Story!  Guests were wowed with backstage tours and free transportation.  Stay tuned for more up coming shows in the next season starting in March.

Volunteers

As the Activities Coordinator, I am always looking for some helping hands to help plan some of exciting up-and-coming events happening in Abacoa. I have immediate needs and future needs, so ANY help would be greatly appreciated.   Join us for monthly meetings at 1200 University Blvd. Suite 102 to get informed on how you can help out in your community.  Can't attend?
