Jupiter High School Band Hosts "An Evening with Composer Dr. Frank Ticheli" and Silent Auction

Jupiter High School Band proudly presents "An Evening with Composer Dr. Frank Ticheli" and Silent Auction. This special event, featuring performances by the Jupiter High School Symphonic and Wind Symphony bands, aims to showcase the extraordinary talents of renowned American composer Dr. Frank Ticheli.
Since its inception, this concert series has been a cherished tradition for high school music students, providing them with unique opportunities for growth and inspiration. Mr. Ross, the JHS Band Director, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, "This series was created to elevate the musical experience for our high school students. Having Dr. Ticheli come and spend a few days with our students is a tremendous honor. His guidance and expertise will undoubtedly enhance their musical abilities and bring a new level of artistry to our performance."
Dr. Frank Ticheli, acclaimed for his contributions to orchestral, choral, chamber, and concert band works, will collaborate with the students during his visit, providing valuable insights and mentorship. This hands-on experience is a unique opportunity for the students to learn from a master composer, further elevating the educational impact of the event.
The Evening with Composer Dr. Frank Ticheli will also feature the highly anticipated annual Silent Auction. Funds raised from this auction play a crucial role in supporting the Jupiter High School Band program, covering essential operating expenses and ensuring the continued success of the program. This year silent auction items include golfing packages, hotel stays, fishing charters, and so much more.
