Wheels for Kid’s Annual Tournament - Abacoa Golf Club

2024 will mark the Wheels For Kids monumental 20^th anniversary.  But the charity is not waiting for that epic time to roll out events, as they will be hosting their annual golf tournament at the Abacoa Golf Course on Saturday, September 23, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at which time they will donate another customized wheelchair and a stroller to deserving children who have special needs.

Wheels For Kids

Providing custom wheelchairs to children with special needs who can neither purchase them nor qualify for public or charitable funding.

Wheels For Kids, a non-profit 501 C-3 charity based in Palm Beach County, Florida which distributes customized wheelchairs and strollers to children with financial need was recently awarded a $5,000.00 grant through Home Depot. Wheels For Kids will use the funds from the generous donation in numerous ways including providing a customized Convaid Cruiser Stroller to a young Palm Beach County Child within the next month.  This donation will be the 87^th mobile device that has been awarded in the 20 years which Wheels For Kids has been operating.
